Responsibilities
- Load and unload merchandise: Safely and efficiently handle freight using forklifts, pallet jacks, and hand trucks.
- Inventory Management: Organize and stock inventory in the warehouse, maintaining accurate records of stock levels.
- Picking and Packing: Fulfill customer orders by picking items from the warehouse floor and preparing them for shipment.
- Safety Compliance: Adhere to all safety protocols and OSHA regulations to maintain a safe working environment.
- Equipment Maintenance: Perform routine checks on warehouse equipment and report any issues immediately.
- Team Collaboration: Work closely with team members to meet daily production targets and deadlines.
Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED: Minimum educational requirement.
- Physical Stamina: Ability to lift up to 50 lbs repeatedly and stand for extended periods.
- Availability: Must be available to work weekends (Saturday & Sunday) and have reliable transportation.
- Attention to Detail: Strong focus on accuracy in data entry and inventory counts.
- Basic Computer Skills: Comfortable with handheld scanners and warehouse management systems.
- Experience: Previous warehouse or logistics experience is preferred but not required; on-the-job training provided.
