As a Weekend Associate, you will play a crucial role in our supply chain operations, ensuring that our clients receive their orders accurately and on time. We offer a modern, clean, and safe work environment equipped with the latest technology.
Responsibilities
- Merchandise Handling: Efficiently load, unload, and stock merchandise onto pallets, shelves, or racks to ensure accurate inventory placement.
- Picking & Packing: Accurately pick and pack customer orders according to specific dimensions and weight requirements.
- Equipment Operation: Safely operate material handling equipment, including forklifts, pallet jacks, and hand trucks, in compliance with safety protocols.
- Inventory Control: Assist in cycle counting and inventory audits to maintain accurate stock levels and reduce shrinkage.
- Quality Assurance: Inspect products for damage or defects and report discrepancies immediately to management.
- Safety Compliance: Adhere to all OSHA safety guidelines and company policies to maintain a secure workplace for everyone.
- Team Collaboration: Communicate effectively with shift supervisors and team members to optimize workflow and meet daily targets.
Qualifications
- Experience: Previous warehouse experience is preferred, but we are willing to train the right candidate.
- Availability: Must be available to work weekend shifts (Saturday and Sunday) on a consistent basis.
- Physical Stamina: Ability to lift up to 50-70 lbs repeatedly and stand for extended periods in a fast-paced environment.
- Education: High School Diploma or GED equivalent required.
- Driving: Valid driver's license is required.
- Technical Skills: Basic computer literacy and ability to operate handheld scanners or warehouse management systems.
- Reliability: Demonstrated history of punctuality and dependability.
