Responsibilities
- Oversee weekend shift operations, ensuring timely order fulfillment and quality standards
- Train and mentor 5-8 team members on warehouse procedures and safety protocols
- Optimize workflow efficiency using WMS systems and inventory management tools
- Conduct daily safety audits and maintain OSHA compliance documentation
- Resolve operational challenges with data-driven decision-making
- Collaborate with day-shift managers for seamless handovers
- Prepare shift reports highlighting productivity metrics and improvement opportunities
Qualifications
- Minimum 2 years supervisory experience in logistics, retail, or manufacturing
- OSHA 30-hour certification or willingness to obtain within 30 days
- Proficiency with warehouse management software (e.g., Oracle, SAP)
- Strong problem-solving abilities with attention to detail
- Valid Indiana driver's license (for facility audits)
- Flexible availability for weekends (Fri-Sun) and holidays
- Basic knowledge of inventory control procedures
- Excellent communication and conflict resolution skills
