Responsibilities
- Oversee the daily operations of the warehouse during weekend shifts, ensuring all processes align with company standards.
- Supervise, train, and mentor a team of 10-15 employees, fostering a culture of safety, accountability, and high performance.
- Monitor inventory levels, manage stock discrepancies, and ensure accurate order fulfillment for weekend shipments.
- Enforce strict safety protocols and compliance regulations to maintain a secure working environment.
- Handle escalated customer inquiries and resolve operational issues efficiently to minimize downtime.
- Collaborate with the management team during the week to plan upcoming shifts and resource allocation.
- Conduct regular performance reviews and provide constructive feedback to team members.
Qualifications
- Minimum of 2-3 years of experience in logistics, warehousing, or operations management.
- Previous experience in a supervisory or lead role is highly preferred.
- Strong knowledge of inventory management systems and warehouse software (e.g., SAP, Oracle, or similar).
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to lead diverse teams.
- Ability to work weekends (Friday, Saturday, Sunday) and occasional holidays.
- Flexibility to adapt to changing priorities and high-pressure environments.
- High school diploma or GED required; Associate’s degree in Business or Logistics is a plus.
