Responsibilities
- Manage weekend shift operations including inventory control, quality assurance, and staff scheduling
- Train and mentor team members on safety protocols, equipment operation, and company standards
- Resolve operational issues promptly to maintain productivity targets
- Prepare shift reports and performance metrics for management review
- Coordinate with other departments to ensure smooth handovers and communication
- Implement continuous improvement initiatives for weekend workflows
- Ensure compliance with OSHA regulations and company policies
Qualifications
- 3+ years of supervisory experience in logistics or manufacturing
- Valid forklift certification and OSHA 30-hour training preferred
- Strong problem-solving abilities with attention to detail
- Excellent communication and leadership skills
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
- Proficiency in warehouse management systems (WMS)
- Flexibility to work weekends and occasional holidays
- High school diploma or equivalent; bachelor's degree a plus
