Responsibilities
- Coordinate patient appointments and ensure seamless weekend clinic operations
- Manage electronic health records with precision and confidentiality
- Assist with patient intake, vitals, and preliminary assessments
- Collaborate with on-call physicians and emergency response teams
- Maintain inventory of medical supplies and equipment
- Provide empathetic patient education and discharge instructions
- Document all patient encounters accurately in EHR systems
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent; healthcare certification preferred
- Minimum 1 year experience in clinical or administrative healthcare
- Proficiency with EHR systems (Epic/Meditech a plus)
- Strong communication and multitasking abilities
- CPR certification or willingness to obtain within 30 days
- Ability to stand/walk for extended periods and lift 25 lbs
- Flexibility to work alternating weekends and holidays
- Attention to detail and HIPAA compliance knowledge
