Responsibilities
- Coordinate patient care plans and documentation during weekend shifts
- Assist with patient admissions, discharges, and transfers
- Collaborate with on-call physicians and specialists
- Monitor patient vital signs and report abnormalities
- Administer medications per physician orders
- Maintain accurate electronic health records
- Support patient education and family communication
- Adhere to HIPAA and hospital protocols
Qualifications
- Current California CNA or LVN license required
- 1+ years acute care experience preferred
- BLS/CPR certification (American Heart Association)
- Strong communication and documentation skills
- Ability to work independently in fast-paced weekends
- Experience with Epic EMR system
- Spanish bilingual a plus
- Weekend availability mandatory
