Responsibilities
- Coordinate patient care activities during weekend shifts (Friday-Sunday) including scheduling, resource allocation, and staff supervision
- Ensure compliance with healthcare regulations and maintain accurate patient documentation systems
- Act as primary liaison between clinical teams, patients, and family members during weekend operations
- Implement emergency response protocols and manage urgent care situations with calm professionalism
- Conduct weekend staff briefings and performance evaluations to maintain service quality standards
- Collaborate with weekday supervisors to ensure continuity of care and operational consistency
- Monitor weekend KPIs and prepare comprehensive handover reports for weekday teams
Qualifications
- Associate's degree in Healthcare Administration or related field (Bachelor's preferred)
- Minimum 3 years experience in healthcare coordination or patient services management
- Proven ability to work flexible weekend schedules with reliable availability
- Certification in Healthcare Management (CHCM) or equivalent preferred
- Strong proficiency in EMR systems and healthcare documentation software
- Exceptional communication skills with ability to de-escalate sensitive situations
- Valid California driver's license and reliable transportation
- Ability to stand/walk for extended periods during weekend shifts
