Responsibilities
- Delight patients with compassionate care and attentive monitoring during weekend shifts
- Accurately document patient vitals, medication schedules, and care progress
- Assist with daily living activities including mobility support and meal service
- Collaborate seamlessly with nursing staff to maintain continuity of care
- Respond promptly to patient requests and emergency situations
- Maintain strict compliance with HIPAA and infection control protocols
- Prepare and maintain patient care environments to safety standards
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent required; CNA certification preferred
- Minimum 1 year healthcare experience in acute or long-term care setting
- Current CPR/BLS certification (or ability to obtain within 30 days)
- Ability to work independently during weekend shifts with minimal supervision
- Strong communication skills and emotional intelligence for patient interactions
- Physical stamina to lift up to 50 lbs and stand for extended periods
- Reliable transportation for varied weekend shift schedules (6AM-6PM)
