Responsibilities
- Coordinate patient care activities across weekend shifts, ensuring seamless transitions and continuity
- Manage electronic health records with precision while maintaining strict HIPAA compliance
- Lead interdisciplinary weekend team huddles to address patient needs and operational priorities
- Respond to urgent patient inquiries and triage situations with clinical judgment
- Implement quality improvement initiatives specific to weekend care protocols
- Maintain accurate documentation and reporting for weekend operations
- Collaborate with on-call physicians to resolve complex patient care scenarios
Qualifications
- Associate's degree in Nursing or related healthcare field (Bachelor's preferred)
- Minimum 2 years of clinical experience in a hospital or urgent care setting
- Current Louisiana state healthcare license in good standing
- Proficiency in Epic EHR systems and Microsoft Office Suite
- Strong conflict resolution and communication skills
- Ability to work independently while collaborating in a team environment
- Flexibility to cover varying weekend shifts including holidays
- BLS/CPR certification required (ACLS preferred)
