Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care including medication administration, wound treatment, and vital sign monitoring
- Collaborate with RNs and physicians to develop and implement individualized care plans
- Document patient assessments and treatment progress accurately in electronic health records
- Assist in emergency response procedures and critical care interventions
- Train and mentor new staff on weekend shift protocols and best practices
- Ensure compliance with HIPAA, OSHA, and JCAHO regulations
Qualifications
- Active Maryland LPN license in good standing
- Minimum 2 years of acute care or hospital experience
- BLS/CPR certification and ACLS preferred
- Strong critical thinking and emergency response skills
- Proficiency in Epic or EHR systems
- Ability to work independently and collaborate in fast-paced environments
- Flexibility for occasional overtime and holiday coverage
