Responsibilities
- Freight Handling: Efficiently load, unload, and organize merchandise from trucks and trailers using standard warehouse equipment.
- Inventory Management: Verify incoming stock against packing lists and accurately sort items for storage.
- Order Fulfillment: Assist in picking and packing customer orders with a focus on speed and accuracy.
- Safety Compliance: Adhere to all safety protocols and OSHA guidelines to maintain a secure working environment.
- Equipment Operation: Safely operate pallet jacks, forklifts (certification available upon hire), and hand trucks.
- Quality Control: Inspect products for damage and report any discrepancies immediately.
- Team Collaboration: Communicate effectively with the weekday team to ensure smooth workflow transitions.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED equivalent is preferred but not required.
- Must be available to work weekends (Saturday and Sunday) and occasional holidays.
- Ability to perform physical tasks including lifting up to 50 lbs and standing for extended periods.
- Basic computer literacy and ability to operate barcode scanners.
- Strong work ethic, attention to detail, and reliability.
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation are required.
