Responsibilities
- Coordinate patient appointments and care plans across multiple departments
- Manage weekend staffing schedules and ensure optimal coverage
- Handle urgent patient inquiries and triage critical situations
- Maintain accurate electronic health records and documentation
- Collaborate with on-call physicians and specialists
- Oversee weekend admissions and discharge procedures
- Train and support weekend administrative staff
Qualifications
- Associate's degree in healthcare administration or related field
- Minimum 2 years healthcare coordination experience
- Strong knowledge of HIPAA compliance regulations
- Proficiency in EHR systems (Epic preferred)
- Exceptional communication and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work independently in high-pressure situations
- Flexibility to adapt to changing weekend demands
- Current CPR/BLS certification
