Responsibilities
- Supervise weekend warehouse team (8-12 associates) during 12-hour shifts
- Oversee receiving, inventory management, and order fulfillment operations
- Implement safety protocols and ensure OSHA compliance
- Train new hires on equipment operation (forklifts, scanners, etc.)
- Optimize workflow efficiency using warehouse management systems
- Conduct daily performance reviews and provide constructive feedback
- Coordinate cross-functional teams for seamless weekend operations
- Resolve operational issues and escalate complex problems appropriately
Qualifications
- 3+ years warehouse/supervisory experience
- Forklift certification and heavy equipment operation skills
- Proficient in WMS systems (e.g., Oracle, Manhattan Active)
- Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities
- Excellent communication and team leadership skills
- Ability to work flexible weekends (Sat/Sun 6am-6pm)
- Basic math and inventory management knowledge
- High school diploma or equivalent (degree preferred)
