Responsibilities
- Deliver patient-centered care during weekend shifts (Sat-Sun, 6am-6pm)
- Administer medications and treatments per physician protocols
- Document electronic health records with precision and timeliness
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams for seamless patient transitions
- Respond to emergency situations using ACLS/BLS protocols
- Maintain strict HIPAA compliance and infection control standards
- Participate in weekend staff development and quality initiatives
Qualifications
- Active RN or LPN license in Florida (or compact state)
- 2+ years acute care or long-term weekend shift experience
- BLS/ACLS certification required; ACLS preferred
- Proficiency in Epic EMR systems
- Exceptional communication and critical thinking skills
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
- Flexibility to cover rotating weekends as needed
