Role Overview
As a Weekend Security Officer, you will be the first line of defense for our clients. Your primary focus will be on providing a safe and secure environment through vigilant patrols and exceptional customer service. You will serve as a deterrent to theft and vandalism while ensuring the safety of employees and visitors.
Responsibilities
- Conduct regular foot and vehicle patrols of the premises to ensure security and safety.
- Monitor access points and verify the identity of visitors and vendors before granting entry.
- Respond promptly and professionally to alarms, emergencies, and incidents.
- Prepare detailed written reports regarding daily activities, irregularities, and equipment damage.
- Enforce company policies and security protocols strictly and impartially.
- Provide excellent customer service to employees and guests, answering questions and directing traffic.
- Assist in evacuating the building safely in the event of an emergency.
Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED equivalent required.
- Must be at least 18 years of age with a valid driver's license.
- Ability to stand, walk, and patrol for extended periods in various weather conditions.
- Strong attention to detail and the ability to remain alert at all times.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Must successfully pass a background check and drug screening.
- Previous security experience is a plus but not mandatory.
