Responsibilities
- Conduct regular patrols of the facility, including interior and exterior perimeters, to ensure a secure environment.
- Monitor access control points and verify the identity of visitors, vendors, and employees.
- Respond promptly and professionally to alarms, incidents, and emergency situations.
- Prepare detailed incident reports and log entries regarding daily activities and irregularities.
- Assist in enforcing company policies and safety procedures for all personnel and guests.
- Communicate effectively with law enforcement and emergency services when necessary.
- Maintain a high standard of professional conduct and appearance at all times.
Qualifications
- Valid New York State Security Guard License is required.
- High School Diploma or GED equivalent.
- Previous experience in security, hospitality, or law enforcement is preferred but not mandatory.
- Ability to stand and walk for extended periods.
- Strong observational skills and the ability to remain alert.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Must pass a thorough background check and drug screening.
