Responsibilities
- Assess patient health status by performing physical examinations and reviewing medical histories.
- Administer medications and treatments according to physician orders and nursing protocols.
- Monitor vital signs and recognize changes in patient condition to ensure prompt intervention.
- Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to develop and implement patient care plans.
- Document all patient care activities, including assessments, interventions, and responses to treatment.
- Educate patients and families on health maintenance and disease prevention.
- Ensure a safe and clean environment by adhering to all hospital safety and infection control policies.
Qualifications
- Current and active Registered Nurse (RN) license in the State of Ohio.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) preferred.
- Minimum of 1-2 years of clinical experience in a hospital or medical setting.
- Strong critical thinking and decision-making skills under pressure.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work rotating weekend shifts (Friday through Sunday) on a full-time basis.
- Demonstrated compassion and commitment to patient-centered care.
