Responsibilities
- Greet and assist customers with a warm, professional demeanor, ensuring a positive shopping experience.
- Operate the point-of-sale (POS) system efficiently, processing transactions, returns, and exchanges accurately.
- Stock shelves, organize merchandise displays, and ensure the sales floor is clean, tidy, and well-merchandised.
- Maintain high standards of store hygiene and safety protocols at all times.
- Collaborate with the management team to meet weekly sales targets and inventory goals.
- Handle customer inquiries and resolve issues promptly to ensure customer satisfaction.
- Assist in the unloading of deliveries and the proper rotation of stock according to FIFO standards.
Qualifications
- Availability: Must be available to work weekends, including Saturdays and Sundays.
- Experience: Previous retail or customer service experience is preferred but not mandatory.
- Communication: Strong verbal communication skills and the ability to interact effectively with diverse customers.
- Physical Demands: Ability to stand for extended periods, walk, and lift up to 25 lbs as needed.
- Attention to Detail: Keen eye for visual merchandising and stock organization.
- Reliability: A proven track record of punctuality and dependability.
- Education: High school diploma or equivalent required.
