Responsibilities
- Deliver high-quality patient care including vital sign monitoring and mobility assistance
- Administer medications and treatments as per physician orders
- Document patient observations accurately in electronic health records
- Collaborate with nursing staff to ensure seamless care transitions
- Maintain sterile environments and infection control protocols
- Provide emotional support to patients and families during weekend hours
- Respond promptly to emergency situations with calm professionalism
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED required
- Current Virginia CNA certification or medical assistant certification
- Minimum 1 year healthcare experience preferred
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required (training provided)
- Ability to work independently and prioritize tasks effectively
- Strong communication skills and attention to detail
- Physical ability to lift patients and stand for extended periods
- Weekend availability is mandatory (Saturday/Sunday 7am-7pm)
