Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care including vital sign monitoring and medication administration
- Assist with patient mobility and daily living activities
- Maintain accurate electronic health records and documentation
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary care teams to ensure patient continuity
- Respond to patient requests and emergencies per protocol
- Perform routine equipment checks and sterilization procedures
- Support discharge planning and patient education initiatives
Qualifications
- Current Maryland CNA or PCT certification required
- Minimum 1 year acute care or hospital experience
- Valid CPR/BLS certification with American Heart Association
- Availability for all weekend shifts (Sat/Sun) with rotating holidays
- Proficiency in EHR systems (Epic preferred)
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to stand/walk for extended periods and lift up to 50 lbs
