Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care during weekend shifts including vital monitoring and assistance
- Administer medications and treatments per physician orders
- Document patient observations accurately in electronic health records
- Collaborate with weekend nursing staff to maintain care continuity
- Respond promptly to patient needs and emergency situations
- Maintain sterile environments and infection control protocols
- Support patient education for weekend discharge planning
Qualifications
- Current Arizona CNA or EMT certification required
- Minimum 1 year acute care experience preferred
- Valid BLS/CPR certification
- Ability to work independently during weekend shifts
- Strong communication and documentation skills
- Flexibility with weekend scheduling (Sat/Sun shifts)
- Basic EKG and phlebotomy skills a plus
- Pass background check and drug screening
