Responsibilities
- Coordinate patient intake, scheduling, and appointment management for weekend services
- Perform vital sign checks and preliminary patient assessments
- Assist with electronic health record (EHR) documentation and data entry
- Manage patient flow and triage in high-volume weekend settings
- Collaborate with physicians and nursing staff to ensure timely care delivery
- Handle insurance verification and billing inquiries
- Maintain HIPAA compliance and strict patient confidentiality
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent; medical assistant or healthcare certification preferred
- Minimum 1 year experience in clinical or administrative healthcare setting
- Proficiency with EHR systems (Epic or Cerner a plus)
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and prioritize in fast-paced environments
- Available Saturdays and Sundays (6 AM - 6 PM shifts available)
- Current CPR certification or willingness to obtain immediately
