Responsibilities
- Coordinate patient appointments and ensure seamless care transitions
- Manage electronic health records with precision and confidentiality
- Assist physicians with clinical procedures and patient preparation
- Handle administrative tasks including billing and insurance verification
- Provide compassionate patient education and support
- Maintain strict compliance with HIPAA and healthcare regulations
Qualifications
- Minimum 1 year healthcare or clinical experience required
- Current CPR/BLS certification
- Proficiency in EHR systems (Epic preferred)
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and prioritize tasks
- Flexibility to cover rotating weekend shifts (Sat-Sun)
- Ohio state medical assistant certification preferred
