Responsibilities
- Coordinate patient appointments and manage clinic schedules for weekend operations
- Perform intake assessments and collect vital signs for weekend patient visits
- Assist physicians with clinical procedures and maintain accurate patient records
- Handle patient inquiries and provide clear communication regarding treatment plans
- Ensure strict compliance with HIPAA regulations and clinic safety protocols
- Manage inventory and supply chain for weekend medical supplies
- Collaborate with weekday team to ensure seamless continuity of care
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent; medical assistant certification preferred
- Minimum 1 year healthcare experience with weekend availability
- Proficiency in EHR systems (Epic experience a plus)
- Strong communication skills and ability to multitask in fast-paced environments
- Basic knowledge of medical terminology and clinical procedures
- Flexibility to work Saturdays and Sundays with occasional holiday coverage
- Valid CPR certification (or willingness to obtain)
