Responsibilities
- Coordinate patient intake and scheduling for weekend appointments
- Manage electronic health records with precision and confidentiality
- Assist medical providers with clinical documentation and patient education
- Handle insurance verification and billing inquiries
- Ensure HIPAA compliance in all patient interactions
- Collaborate with on-call physicians to address urgent patient needs
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent (CMA/LMA preferred)
- 1+ years healthcare or customer service experience
- Proficiency with EHR systems (Epic experience a plus)
- Strong communication and multitasking abilities
- Weekend availability (Saturday/Sunday 8am-6pm)
- Basic medical terminology knowledge
