Responsibilities
- Assist patients with daily living activities including bathing, dressing, and mobility
- Monitor patient vital signs and report changes to nursing staff
- Prepare patient rooms and maintain clean, sanitized environments
- Provide companionship and emotional support to patients
- Document patient care activities accurately in electronic health records
- Collaborate with healthcare team to ensure patient comfort and safety
- Transport patients safely within facility as needed
Qualifications
- No prior healthcare experience required – comprehensive training provided
- High school diploma or equivalent (GED accepted)
- Ability to work weekends (Saturday/Sunday) and flexible hours
- Compassionate, patient-focused attitude and strong work ethic
- Basic computer skills for documentation
- Ability to stand/walk for extended periods and lift up to 25 lbs
- Must pass background check and pre-employment drug screening
