Responsibilities
- Provide compassionate patient care assistance including bathing, feeding, and mobility support
- Monitor vital signs and document patient observations accurately
- Assist with medication administration under nurse supervision
- Maintain clean and sanitized patient environments
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary care teams for seamless patient transitions
- Respond promptly to patient call lights and emergency situations
- Participate in weekend shift handovers and care planning meetings
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- CNA certification preferred but not mandatory (training provided)
- 6+ months of healthcare or direct patient care experience
- Valid CPR/First Aid certification (or willingness to obtain)
- Ability to stand/walk for extended periods and lift up to 50 lbs
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Flexibility to work rotating weekends and holidays
- Pass background check and drug screening
