Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care including vital signs monitoring, mobility assistance, and personal hygiene support
- Assist nurses with clinical procedures and maintain accurate patient documentation
- Ensure a clean, safe, and comfortable patient environment following hospital protocols
- Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare team members
- Respond promptly to patient needs and emergency situations
- Adhere to strict HIPAA and infection control standards
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent required; CNA certification preferred
- Minimum 1 year of healthcare or patient care experience
- Ability to work weekends (Saturday/Sunday) with rotating holidays
- Current BLS/CPR certification from an accredited provider
- Strong interpersonal skills with ability to remain calm under pressure
- Physical ability to lift up to 50 pounds and stand for extended periods
