Responsibilities
- Greet and assist customers with a friendly and professional demeanor, ensuring a high level of customer satisfaction.
- Process sales transactions accurately and efficiently using the Point of Sale (POS) system.
- Stock shelves, organize merchandise displays, and ensure the sales floor is clean, organized, and visually appealing.
- Monitor inventory levels and communicate stock shortages or damages to the management team promptly.
- Collaborate with team members to achieve daily sales targets and maintain a positive store atmosphere.
- Handle customer inquiries and resolve any issues or complaints in a timely and professional manner.
- Assist with store opening and closing procedures, including security checks and cash reconciliation.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- Previous retail or customer service experience preferred but not mandatory.
- Must be available to work weekends (Saturday and Sunday) and have a flexible schedule.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to interact effectively with diverse customers and colleagues.
- Ability to stand for extended periods and lift boxes weighing up to 25 lbs.
- Basic computer literacy and comfort with POS systems.
- A positive attitude and a genuine desire to provide excellent service.
