Responsibilities
- Store Operations: Assist with daily store operations, including stocking shelves, organizing displays, and maintaining a clean, inviting shopping environment.
- Cash Handling: Process customer transactions accurately at the point of sale using the POS system, ensuring all payments are accounted for.
- Customer Service: Provide exceptional customer service by answering inquiries, resolving complaints, and assisting customers with product selection.
- Inventory Management: Monitor inventory levels, help with periodic stock counts, and communicate shortages to the management team.
- Visual Merchandising: Assist in setting up promotional displays and ensuring product signage is current and attractive.
- Opening/Closing Duties: Perform opening or closing procedures as required, including securing the store, setting up the register, and preparing the sales floor for the next day.
Qualifications
- Availability: Must be available to work weekends (Saturday and/or Sunday) on a regular basis.
- Experience: Previous retail or customer service experience is preferred but not required; we provide comprehensive on-the-job training.
- Communication: Excellent verbal communication skills with the ability to interact professionally with customers and team members.
- Reliability: A strong work ethic, punctuality, and the ability to follow instructions accurately.
- Physical Requirements: Ability to stand for extended periods, lift boxes up to 25 lbs, and perform repetitive motions such as stocking and folding.
- Tech-Savviness: Basic computer skills and comfort with mobile point-of-sale devices.
