Responsibilities
- Operate Heavy Machinery: Safely drive forklifts and pallet jacks to move inventory throughout the warehouse.
- Inventory Management: Perform accurate receiving, picking, packing, and shipping of goods to maintain optimal stock levels.
- Safety Compliance: Adhere strictly to all OSHA safety protocols and company regulations to ensure a hazard-free environment.
- Quality Control: Inspect products for damage and ensure packaging meets company standards before dispatch.
- Team Collaboration: Communicate effectively with day-shift supervisors and night-shift colleagues to coordinate workflow.
- Equipment Maintenance: Perform basic daily checks and cleaning of machinery to ensure operational readiness.
Qualifications
- Schedule Availability: Must be available to work weekends (Saturday and Sunday) and night shifts (e.g., 10:00 PM - 6:00 AM).
- Education: High school diploma or GED equivalent required.
- Physical Requirements: Ability to lift up to 50 lbs repeatedly and stand for extended periods.
- Experience: Previous warehouse or logistics experience is a plus, but we offer training for qualified candidates.
- Technical Skills: Basic computer literacy and familiarity with inventory management software is preferred.
