Responsibilities
- Safely transport patients via wheelchair/stretcher throughout medical facility
- Assist patients with mobility needs and ensure comfort during transfers
- Maintain clean and sanitized transport equipment per hospital protocols
- Communicate effectively with nursing staff regarding patient status
- Monitor patients during transport and report any concerns immediately
- Adhere to HIPAA compliance and safety regulations
- Complete accurate documentation of transport activities
Qualifications
- No prior experience required – training provided!
- High school diploma or equivalent (preferred)
- Ability to stand/walk for extended periods and push/pull up to 50 lbs
