Responsibilities
- Perform diagnostic tests and analyze patient samples accurately and efficiently
- Operate medical equipment including EKG machines, phlebotomy tools, and lab analyzers
- Maintain detailed patient records and documentation following HIPAA protocols
- Assist physicians with procedures and emergency response during overnight shifts
- Ensure lab and exam areas remain sanitized and fully stocked per safety standards
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to coordinate patient care seamlessly
Qualifications
- Current Colorado Medical Technician certification (CMA or Phlebotomy)
- 1+ years of clinical experience in hospital or urgent care setting
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision during night shifts
- Strong attention to detail and precision in sample handling
- Flexibility to work weekends and holidays as required
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required
- Proficiency with EMR systems (Epic preferred)
