Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care during weekend night shifts (10 PM - 6 AM)
- Administer medications and treatments under physician supervision
- Prepare and maintain examination rooms and medical equipment
- Document patient encounters accurately in EHR systems
- Assist with minor procedures and emergency response protocols
- Coordinate with night nursing staff for seamless patient transitions
- Handle patient intake and triage during overnight hours
Qualifications
- Active Medical Assistant certification (CMA/RMA preferred)
- Minimum 1 year clinical experience in hospital/urgent care setting
- Current BLS/CPR certification
- Proficiency with EHR systems (Epic experience a plus)
- Ability to work independently during overnight shifts
- Strong communication and critical thinking skills
- Nevada state medical assistant license
- Availability every Saturday and Sunday night
