As a cornerstone of our overnight operations, you'll work Saturdays and Sundays from 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM, supporting emergency care, patient monitoring, and administrative tasks. Enjoy premium weekend differential pay and comprehensive benefits designed for shift workers.
Responsibilities
- Perform patient assessments, vital sign monitoring, and medication administration during overnight hours
- Assist physicians with emergency procedures and diagnostic testing
- Maintain accurate electronic health records (EHR) documentation
- Coordinate patient care between departments and overnight staff
- Handle triage for incoming patients and urgent care needs
- Prepare exam rooms and sterilize equipment per safety protocols
- Provide patient education on treatment plans and preventive care
Qualifications
- Active Medical Assistant certification (CMA, RMA, or NCMA)
- Minimum 1 year clinical experience in fast-paced environment
- BLS/CPR certification required (ACLS preferred)
- Proficiency with EHR systems (Epic experience a plus)
- Ability to work independently during overnight hours
- Strong critical thinking and emergency response skills
- Flexibility to adapt to changing patient volumes overnight
- Ohio state medical assistant license in good standing
