Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care and monitoring during overnight shifts (10 PM - 6 AM)
- Administer medications and treatments per physician protocols
- Document patient vitals and incidents in electronic health records
- Respond to emergency situations with calm professionalism
- Coordinate with on-call physicians and weekend nursing teams
- Maintain sterile environments and infection control standards
- Support patient comfort and overnight care routines
Qualifications
- Current DC nursing license (LPN/RN/CNA) or EMT certification
- Minimum 1 year overnight or shift healthcare experience
- BLS/CPR certification (American Heart Association)
- Ability to work independently with sound clinical judgment
- Proficient with EMR systems (Epic preferred)
- Strong documentation and communication skills
- Availability every Saturday and Sunday night
- Pass background check and drug screening
