Responsibilities
- Coordinate patient care activities during weekend and night shifts across multiple departments
- Manage staff assignments and ensure proper coverage for all critical positions
- Handle emergency situations with calm professionalism and decisive action
- Maintain accurate patient records and documentation using electronic health systems
- Collaborate with day-shift teams to ensure continuity of care and smooth transitions
- Conduct regular safety checks and maintain compliance with healthcare regulations
- Provide direct patient support and assistance as needed during peak hours
Qualifications
- Minimum 1 year experience in healthcare or shift coordination preferred
- Current CPR certification required (BLS for Healthcare Providers)
- Strong problem-solving abilities and decision-making skills
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
- Flexibility to work weekends and overnight shifts (Fri-Sun, 11PM-7AM)
- Basic knowledge of medical terminology and healthcare protocols
- Proficient with electronic health record systems (EHR)
