Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care including vitals measurement, injections, and specimen collection
- Assist physicians with clinical procedures and maintain exam rooms
- Manage electronic health records (EHR) systems with precision
- Handle patient scheduling, insurance verification, and billing documentation
- Administer medications under provider supervision and monitor patient responses
- Coordinate with pharmacy for prescription refills and medication reconciliation
- Maintain strict HIPAA compliance and infection control protocols
Qualifications
- Active Arizona Medical Assistant certification (CMA or RMA)
- Minimum 1 year clinical experience in outpatient or urgent care setting
- Proficiency in EHR systems (Epic or NextGen preferred)
- BLS/CPR certification and phlebotomy skills required
- Ability to work Saturdays/Sundays with rotating holiday shifts
- Strong attention to detail and exceptional communication skills
- Spanish bilingual certification highly valued
- Pass background check and drug screening
