Responsibilities
- Provide clinical support including vital signs, EKGs, and patient preparation
- Assist physicians with examinations and minor procedures
- Manage patient records using our EMR system with precision
- Coordinate patient flow and ensure efficient clinic operations
- Administer medications and injections as directed
- Maintain sterile exam environments and inventory control
- Deliver exceptional patient education and communication
Qualifications
- Current Louisiana Medical Assistant certification required
- Minimum 1 year clinical experience preferred
- BLS/CPR certification from AHA
- Proficiency in EMR systems (Epic experience a plus)
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks
- Flexibility to work Saturdays and Sundays (7am-7pm)
- Background check and drug screen required
