Responsibilities
- Assist physicians with patient examinations and procedures
- Prepare and maintain medical equipment and supplies
- Perform vital sign measurements and basic patient assessments
- Ensure sterile environments and infection control protocols
- Manage patient records and documentation accurately
- Provide exceptional patient support and education
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary care teams
- Maintain HIPAA compliance and confidentiality standards
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Medical Assistant certification preferred (CMA or RMA)
- Basic knowledge of medical terminology and procedures
- Weekend availability (Saturday/Sunday shifts)
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to stand/walk for extended periods
- Previous healthcare experience beneficial
