Responsibilities
- Perform patient intake procedures including vital sign measurements and medical history documentation
- Assist physicians with clinical examinations and minor medical procedures
- Prepare and maintain examination rooms, ensuring sterility and proper equipment functionality
- Manage patient records using electronic health record systems with precision and confidentiality
- Coordinate patient scheduling and follow-up communications efficiently
- Administer injections and medications as directed by licensed providers
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure seamless patient care delivery
Qualifications
- Current Medical Assistant certification (CMA or RMA) required
- Minimum 1 year of clinical experience in a healthcare setting
- Proficiency in EHR systems and medical documentation protocols
- Strong interpersonal skills with ability to build patient rapport
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision during weekend shifts
- Flexibility to cover variable weekend schedules (Saturdays/Sundays)
- Basic knowledge of HIPAA compliance and patient privacy regulations
- CPR certification (or willingness to obtain upon hire)
