Responsibilities
- Oversee 8-12 person care teams during Saturday/Sunday night shifts (10 PM - 6 AM)
- Implement emergency protocols and resolve critical incidents with calm professionalism
- Conduct hourly rounds and documentation audits to ensure compliance
- Coordinate patient handoffs and communicate with day-shift supervisors
- Mentor new staff and maintain optimal team morale during overnight hours
- Administer medication protocols and monitor vital signs as needed
- Submit detailed shift reports highlighting achievements and improvement areas
Qualifications
- Minimum 2 years supervisory experience in healthcare or emergency services
- Valid BLS/CPR certification (or willingness to obtain)
- Proven ability to remain alert and decisive during overnight hours
- Exceptional conflict resolution and crisis management skills
- Availability every Saturday and Sunday without exception
- Proficient with electronic health records (EHR) systems
- Flexibility to adapt to changing patient care priorities
- Valid California driver's license and reliable transportation
