Responsibilities
- Assist physicians during weekend patient examinations and procedures
- Perform vital sign measurements and basic laboratory tests
- Prepare examination rooms and maintain medical equipment
- Administer medications and treatments under provider supervision
- Update electronic health records with precision and confidentiality
- Provide patient education and support during weekend visits
- Collaborate with cross-functional healthcare teams
Qualifications
- Active Medical Assistant certification (CMA or RMA)
- Minimum 1 year clinical experience in outpatient setting
- Proficiency in EHR systems (Epic preferred)
- BLS/CPR certification required
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
- Flexibility to work Saturdays and Sundays
- Strong attention to detail and organizational abilities
