Responsibilities
- Perform vital sign measurements and patient intake assessments
- Assist physicians with examinations and minor procedures
- Manage electronic health records and documentation
- Administer medications and injections under provider supervision
- Prepare exam rooms and maintain sterile environments
- Handle patient scheduling and phone triage
- Process lab specimens and basic point-of-care testing
Qualifications
- Current Medical Assistant certification (CMA or RMA)
- Minimum 1 year clinical experience in ambulatory setting
- Basic ECG and phlebotomy skills required
- BLS/CPR certification from recognized provider
- Proficiency with EMR systems (Epic preferred)
- Ability to work independently in fast-paced environment
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Flexibility to work Saturdays and Sundays (6AM-6PM shifts)
