Responsibilities
- Accurately record patient medical histories and vital signs
- Assist physicians with examinations and minor proceduresPrepare and administer medications under physician supervision
- Perform basic laboratory tests and EKGs
- Maintain sterile exam environments and inventory
- Coordinate patient education materials
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary care teams
Qualifications
- Active Medical Assistant certification (CMA/RMA)
- Minimum 1 year clinical experience
- BLS/CPR certification required
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Flexibility to cover rotating weekend shifts (Sat/Sun)
- Proficient with EHR systems (Epic preferred)
