Responsibilities
- Assist nurses and physicians with patient care tasks including vital sign monitoring and mobility support
- Manage patient records and ensure accurate documentation in electronic health systems
- Coordinate patient flow and communication between departments during weekend shifts
- Prepare examination rooms and medical equipment for procedures
- Respond to patient inquiries and provide compassionate support
- Maintain strict compliance with HIPAA and healthcare regulations
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent; CNA or medical assistant certification preferred
- Minimum 1 year healthcare experience or relevant training program
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Basic knowledge of medical terminology and healthcare protocols
- Flexibility to work weekends with reliable transportation
- CPR certification required (training provided if needed)
