Responsibilities
- Provide compassionate patient care including vital sign monitoring and medication assistance
- Assist with daily living activities and mobility support for elderly patients
- Maintain accurate electronic health records and documentation
- Coordinate with on-call physicians and nursing staff during emergency situations
- Ensure strict compliance with HIPAA and healthcare regulations
- Conduct patient safety rounds and environmental checks
- Support weekend admissions and discharge procedures
Qualifications
- Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) or Medical Assistant certification required
- Minimum 1 year healthcare experience preferred
- Current CPR/BLS certification
- Ability to work independently during weekend shifts
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Flexibility to work variable weekend schedules (Sat/Sun)
- Basic computer proficiency with EHR systems
- Nebraska state healthcare license in good standing
