Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care in ER, ICU, and general wards during weekend shifts
- Administer medications and monitor vital signs per physician protocols
- Document patient records accurately using Epic EHR system
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams for holistic treatment plans
- Maintain strict compliance with JCAHO and hospital policies
- Lead rapid response team activations during critical situations
- Mentor new staff and participate in weekend-specific training
Qualifications
- Active IL RN license with BLS/ACLS certification
- 3+ years acute care nursing experience
- Weekend shift availability (Fri-Sun, 12-hour shifts)
- Expertise in patient assessment and emergency response
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
- Epic EHR proficiency preferred
- BSN or higher degree preferred
