As a weekend-focused role, you'll work Saturdays and Sundays (7 AM-7 PM) with rotating weekdays, ensuring consistent patient care while maintaining work-life harmony. Responsibilities
- Provide exceptional patient care during weekend shifts, including vital sign assessments, injections, and EKGs
- Manage electronic health records (EHR) systems with precision and HIPAA compliance
- Coordinate patient flow, prepare exam rooms, and assist providers during procedures
- Handle insurance verification, scheduling, and front desk operations
- Administer medications and treatments under provider supervision
- Maintain sterile environments and infection control protocols
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless weekend operations
Qualifications
- Current Oregon MA/CMA certification or equivalent medical assistant credential
- Minimum 2 years of clinical experience in a fast-paced healthcare setting
- Proficiency with EHR systems (Epic or Athena preferred)
- Excellent communication skills with diverse patient populations
- Ability to work independently while collaborating with providers
- Flexibility to cover occasional weekday training or meetings
- CPR/BLS certification (or willingness to obtain within 30 days)
